Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd is a joint venture company, set up in 2000 by The City of Edinburgh Council and Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian.
The company acts as a special purpose vehicle to assist in the purchase of land, to oversee the decontamination of land and to support the new infrastructure to enable individual plots to be sold for further development.
Waterfront Edinburgh has an equally important role to play in promoting sustainable economic development for Granton Waterfront and in doing so, helping to create a sense of place.
